Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of underwriters in the underwriting process for complex fleet accounts
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with the VP, Commercial Mid Market to coordinate underwriting strategies and portfolio management for the Western Region
  • Train, develop, and lead staff towards strong technical acumen
  • Maintain a disciplined underwriting culture and professional team environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Commercial Auto Underwriting
  • CIP Designation preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confident decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and support a team of professionals
