Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at AgeCare Sagewood. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Immunization records and tuberculosis test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
