At RED SWAN PIZZA MOOSE JAW, we are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, determining the size of food portions and costs, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
