Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coiled Tubing Specialist to join our team at Trican. As a Coiled Tubing Specialist, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Heavy-Duty Trucks: Safely operate various large-duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weather conditions.
  • Investigate Incidents: Participate in the investigation of incidents and ensure that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Perform Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment and accurately fill out all required forms.
  • Attend Pre-Job Safety Meetings: Attend pre-job safety meetings on location to ensure that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Establish Effective Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inspect and Configure Equipment: Inspect and properly configure all equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Rig-Up and Rig-Out Equipment: Perform rig-up (assembly) and rig-out (disassembly) of all equipment for travel.
  • Perform Maintenance Operations: Perform maintenance operations on units and auxiliary equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Confer with Supervisor and Crew: Confer with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies and ensure that all necessary corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure Compliance with Policies and Regulations: Ensure that all Workplace Safety, Environmental, and National Safety Code Policies and Regulations are followed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's Licence.
  • Pressure Pumping Experience: Have experience in pressure pumping.
  • Education: A high school diploma is an asset.
  • Safe Driving Skills: Possess safe driving skills and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically demanding and able to lift heavy objects.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Be skilled in problem-solving techniques.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift Schedule: Work a 15 days on/6 days off shift schedule.
  • On-Call: Be on call 24 hours during shift.
