At Gurkha Himalayan Kitchen Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, which includes cleaning and sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units. Additionally, you will be required to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an excellent fit for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize kitchen items, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Food Preparation: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and assist with washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
