Job Title: General Labour/ Power Washer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Power Washer to join our team at Advantage Personnel. As a Power Washer, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment at customer sites in Ottawa and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position that requires a valid "G" Driver's License and a clean abstract.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Drive to customers at commercial or residential job sites
  • Pressure wash garbage chutes, linen chutes, and waste containers
  • Use standard hand-tools and pressure washing equipment daily
  • Help with set up and tear down of light equipment at job sites
  • Assist Service Technician with conducting inspections on recycling equipment and waste containers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with management and maintenance staff
  • Address urgent calls and manage unforeseen challenges
  • Leave each job site clean and free of debris

Requirements:

  • Valid "G" Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • WHMIS training is considered an asset
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Flexibility is required for occasional travel, early starts, late finishes, and weekend work

Working Environment:

This role requires physical demands such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, and manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools. You must be comfortable working near garbage and prioritize safety and cleanliness.
