We are looking for an Expert in SR&ED Tax Incentives to join our Calgary office in the SR&ED and Government Incentives team.

The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and support SR&ED client engagements focusing on manufacturing, natural resources, and clean technology/environmental industries.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Examine client operations and processes to determine eligibility for various grants, tax credits, and funding programs.
  • Develop funding methodologies to maximize tax incentives available to clients.
  • Communicate progress updates and issues to team members.
  • Provide professional advice related to documentation compliance with SR&ED program requirements.
  • Gather internal and external client resources utilization and assist with costing activities.
  • Assist clients during technical reviews with the CRA.

  • You have a University degree and/or strong technical expertise in a specific field of science and engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or PhD).

  • You have excellent technical writing skills and strong editorial capabilities.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience, based on current market rates in Calgary, Alberta.
