About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our administration department, you will be responsible for managing and operating our scheduling system, ensuring seamless communication with staff and supervisors. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate location schedules, tracking employee availability, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage location schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely posting
- Coordinate with schedulers to ensure effective communication of schedule changes
- Maintain employee availability records and notify HR of performance concerns
- Cultivate relationships with staff to promote a team-first approach to staffing
- Identify and prioritize must-fill vacancies, reallocating staff as needed
- Ensure accuracy in maintaining location master templates and shift changes
- Review and analyze job posting requests, approving or denying as necessary
- Approve overtime requests and timesheets in Payworks system
- Update and distribute shift vacancies to staff
- Develop and implement scheduling processes, providing supervision and leadership to the scheduling team
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in scheduling and operations, preferably with experience in a similar role. A graduate degree in Business or Office Administration is an asset. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Payroll/Scheduler systems.
What We Offer
The Link offers a competitive salary range of $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide group insurance and pension plans. The primary work hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
