Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Professional to join our team at Rogers Communications, Inc. This is a hybrid work position that requires you to be in office three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Operations: You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.
  2. Incident Management: You will be the primary point of contact for managing and resolving network incidents, including troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
  3. Network Security: You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our network by implementing and maintaining security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection prevention systems.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, including participating in regular meetings and providing updates on network performance and security.
  5. Professional Development: You will have opportunities for professional development and growth, including training and mentoring to help you reach your full potential.
Requirements
  1. Education and Certification: You must have a post-secondary education and active technical certification, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Technical Skills: You must have in-depth hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and SSL solutions, as well as experience with Cisco products and services.
  3. Soft Skills: You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
