We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Counter Attendant at Petro Canada with A&W. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

About the Job

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared according to our high standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure. You will also be required to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to our health and safety policies.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, following our recipes and quality control standards.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas, as well as sanitizing dishes and other items.
  • Stock Management: Restock supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring that we always have enough stock on hand to meet customer demand.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared according to our high standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods.
