Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Foreman to join our team at Brandt Tractor Ltd. in Estevan, Peterbilt location. As a Service Foreman, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of technicians and service writers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of service leadhands, service technicians, and service writers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, timely repair estimates, and quality workmanship.
  • Coach, advise, and mentor technicians and service writers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department by optimizing work processes and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule to ensure prompt response to customer needs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and other branch personnel to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical experience in a transportation environment is an asset.
  • Certified Journeyman in the truck and transport trade or equivalent designated trade is an asset.
  • Experience in a service department setting required.
  • Familiarity with Peterbilt and competitive products preferred.
  • Forklift license preferred.
