Job Title: Welding Fabricator

MATHARU WELDING & FABRICATION BUMPERS is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:

MATHARU WELDING & FABRICATION BUMPERS offers a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work in a team is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
