Job Title: Truck Driver - Freight Transport Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Freight Transport Specialist to join our team at FreightMove Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
