Job Summary

24Hr Collision Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Paint and Body Technician to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work to be performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan repair work to be performed efficiently and effectively
  • Test drive vehicles for proper handling and functionality
  • Clean and maintain the work space to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match the original finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a seamless finish
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipmentWork Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced repair environment with a focus on quality and safety
    • Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians and managers
    • Work with a variety of vehicles and repair challenges
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 2 years of experience in automotive repair or a related field
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
