Culinary Specialist Job Description

Hungryheads is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, determining food portion sizes, and planning menus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and functions
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
