Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Observability

At Lyft, we're committed to building a transportation platform that's reliable, efficient, and accessible to everyone. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Observability, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy monitoring and logging tools to improve observability and reliability of our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure operations and monitoring
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on observability and reliability
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, and Java
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS and GCP
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
