Job Title: Permanent Teaching Opportunity in FSL Hybrid at Holy Rosary

We are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a permanent position in FSL Hybrid at Holy Rosary. The successful candidate will teach up to 5 blocks of FSL per day and be responsible for teaching Music and/or Health and/or Visual Arts for the remainder of the blocks.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent teaching opportunity in FSL Hybrid at Holy Rosary. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching FSL to students and will also be required to teach Music and/or Health and/or Visual Arts. The teaching schedule will be determined, but will include 50% mornings or afternoons, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to 5 blocks of FSL per day
  • Teach Music and/or Health and/or Visual Arts for the remainder of the blocks
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements:
  • French qualifications
  • Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification (OCT Number) if applicable
  • Most Recent Teacher Performance Appraisal (if available)
  • Practice teaching reports
  • University transcripts (including post-graduate if available)
  • Two professional references
