Job Summary:

The Pre-Owned Vehicle Specialist at Strickland's is responsible for restoring pre-owned and off-lease vehicles to a like-new condition. This role involves inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and refinishing vehicles to meet dealership or customer standards. The specialist will perform cosmetic and minor mechanical repairs, including detailing, paint touch-ups, dent removal, wheel restoration, and interior reconditioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming vehicles for cosmetic and mechanical defects
  • Perform reconditioning services, including interior and exterior detailing, minor body repairs, paint touch-ups, and wheel restoration
  • Conduct light mechanical repairs such as brake replacements, battery checks, and fluid changes
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for polishing, buffing, and refinishing
  • Evaluate the quality of work completed and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, bodywork, or light mechanical repair
  • Knowledge of automotive paint correction, dent removal, and buffing techniques
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, power tools, and industry-standard chemicals
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
