Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at GP Pacific Contracting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Recruit, train, and manage construction teams, including supervising and evaluating their performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities and support the recruitment of newcomers and refugees.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction supervision or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work setting is various locations.
