Job Summary

Metro Infrastructure Inc is seeking a skilled Pipeline Welder to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of pipeline welding and fabrication work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
