Job Summary

Providence Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. Your expertise will help us extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring a robust foundation for data analytics and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines, warehouses, and reporting systems to address business operations and clinical challenges.
  • Migrate and move Data & Analytics platforms and applications to the Azure cloud environment.
  • Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including establishing standards for development processes and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with clinical and management teams to develop and implement advanced modeling projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with big data technologies, including Spark, MySQL, and Azure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
