Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including preparation of production reports and scheduling of activities.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, and read blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in residential construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Work Environment:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to construction sites and meetings with clients and vendors.
