About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of our financial resources.

Responsibilities include administering and processing weekly payroll, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will also be responsible for conducting bank reconciliations, generating financial reports, and coordinating financial procedures related to contract completion and project settlements.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. You should be able to work independently and collaborate with leadership to achieve financial goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential for financial modeling and reporting.

Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation with extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and compliance.
  • Proven expertise in QuickBooks (desktop & online) and a solid understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of financial operations while collaborating with leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage payroll, tax compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting in a hands-on capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in project-based accounting and financial management within a dynamic industry.
