Your Role

Under the supervision of the Industrial Control Director, the Industrial Controller will be responsible for:

• Performing a detailed cost analysis, tracking performance, and planning a weekly meeting with plant managers to share analyses and recommendations related to the budget, highlighting discrepancies and proposing solutions to fill gaps;
• Closing the period, ensuring that accounting standards and AMLPC group standards are respected, and working with a tight deadline;
• Collaborating with the management team, preparing monthly presentations to understand, explain plant performance, and evaluate risks and opportunities;
• Working with directors to establish annual budgets and monthly forecasts that contribute to AMLPC's objectives;
• Piloting physical inventory takes and ensuring the accuracy of quantities and values in inventory, as well as compliance with ArcelorMittal accounting standards;
• Following and valuing continuous improvement projects and ensuring their proper accounting in the system;
• Participating in various profitability analyses at the request of plant managers and the Industrial Control Director;
• Responding to requests from internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, commerce, or accounting;
• Have a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment with solid technical skills in accounting;
• Master the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
• Have a strong openness to new technologies;
• Knowledge of a management software is an asset; knowledge of SAP software is an asset;
