Your Role
Under the supervision of the Industrial Control Director, the Industrial Controller will be responsible for:
- Performing a detailed cost analysis, tracking performance, and planning a weekly meeting with plant managers to share analyses and recommendations related to the budget, highlighting discrepancies and proposing solutions to fill gaps;
- Closing the period, ensuring that accounting standards and AMLPC group standards are respected, and working with a tight deadline;
- Collaborating with the management team, preparing monthly presentations to understand, explain plant performance, and evaluate risks and opportunities;
- Working with directors to establish annual budgets and monthly forecasts that contribute to AMLPC's objectives;
- Piloting physical inventory takes and ensuring the accuracy of quantities and values in inventory, as well as compliance with ArcelorMittal accounting standards;
- Following and valuing continuous improvement projects and ensuring their proper accounting in the system;
- Participating in various profitability analyses at the request of plant managers and the Industrial Control Director;
- Responding to requests from internal and external auditors.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in administration, commerce, or accounting;
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment with solid technical skills in accounting;
- Master the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Have a strong openness to new technologies;
- Knowledge of a management software is an asset; knowledge of SAP software is an asset;

- Fluently speak and write in both French and English.
