Job Overview
Summit Search Group is partnering with a prominent leader in the North American Industrial Distribution sector to find an exceptional Accountant for their Edmonton-based team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform month-end and year-end accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate fixed asset control
• Calculate bonus and commission payments, providing financial insights to leadership
• Support decision-making through data-driven financial analysis

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in accounting; 3+ years of experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Must reside in the greater Edmonton area, with a requirement of 3 days per week in-office work

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $75,000 annually, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, and RSP matching.
