Metalwork Technician

At beBee Professionals, we are seeking a skilled Metalwork Technician to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for performing metalwork tasks to create and repair metal structures and components.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate metalwork.
• Perform metalwork operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
• Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain metalwork equipment and tools in good condition to ensure efficient production.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.

• Completion of a metalwork program or apprenticeship.
• Certification in metalwork techniques (e.g., AWS, CWB).
• Previous experience as a metalworker in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure accurate metalwork.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to metal dust and fumes.
