Housekeeping Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Days Inn & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced urban hotel environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
