Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our locations.

As a Cleaning Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas, including corridors, ancillary spaces, and departmental areas. You will also be expected to adhere to accurate preventative maintenance procedures and ensure the safe and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. You will also be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Maintains all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
  • Inspects and uses judgment in determining which cleaning techniques to follow.
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.
  • May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
  • Employs universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
  • Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Promotes effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships.
  • Assists in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Past cleaning experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
