Job Summary

Mama's Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including managing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits
  • Develop and implement budget plans to determine costs and revenues
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and cash flow
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor legislation, and other relevant laws
  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and revenue
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or business an asset
