Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk Services team in Toronto. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assessing and mitigating IT risks for our clients, ensuring the integrity and security of their technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of IT risks and controls, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement controls, ensuring the security and integrity of client data.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to junior staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT risk management, preferably in a large consulting practice.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls and controls-based audits.
  • Experience with data governance, system asset management, and IT project implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
