About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Ashoka Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are clean and sanitized before use.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to our menu standards.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
