Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with mental health and substance use conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Prescribe medications and provide first-line care in emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature
