Key Responsibilities:- Oversee facility operations and maintenance, including maintenance scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement maintenance and operations plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their facility requirements.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track facility performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices to reduce facility costs and environmental impact.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance and operations management in complex, mission-critical environments.
- LEED certification an asset.
- Additional qualifications such as BC licensed Electrician and Refrigeration TQ are an asset.
- Knowledge of facility operations/maintenance, Occupational Health & Safety Act, building codes/standards/regulations, and building systems an asset.
- Advanced level computer skills (such as Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems, etc.).
- Valid BC driver's license.
