GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Municipal Engineer to join our team in Moncton, NB or Halifax, NS.

We are a dynamic and employee-owned company that values quality, integrity, and collaboration. As a Municipal Engineer at GEMTEC, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil engineering projects, including municipal engineering, civil design, transportation engineering, and water and sanitary design.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and approximately 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting. You will be responsible for project management, preparation of contract specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings, as well as assisting in field operations as required.

We are looking for a candidate who is a registered engineer with APEGNB, has excellent oral and written communication skills, and is able to work independently and as part of a team. If you are a motivated and experienced Municipal Engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management and coordination
  • Preparation of contract specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings
  • Assisting in field operations as required
  • Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Construction administration

Requirements:

  • Registered engineer with APEGNB
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
  • Approximately 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
