Job Title: Store Associate

Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team in Anjou. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Accurately process customer transactions, maintain accurate inventory levels, and replenish merchandise as needed
  • Follow up on hot selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes, and maintain planograms, labels, and tickets
  • Perform cycle counts, maintain a safe and secure store environment, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 18 kg (40 lbs.). Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.

Keyholder Premium:

As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring all areas are tidy, and completing end-of-shift tasks. You will also be responsible for security, including locking and setting the alarm.
