Crime Analyst Role at Peel Regional Police

 

The Intelligence Investigator plays a pivotal role in supporting the mission of Peel Regional Police by analyzing and distributing crime intelligence. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex data.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crime Pattern Analysis: Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify trends and patterns in crime data, providing valuable insights to support investigative efforts.
  • Intelligence Gathering and Distribution: Manage databases to track individuals and groups involved in criminal activities, ensuring timely dissemination of critical information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Data Mining and Synthesis: Utilize data mining techniques to retrieve and synthesize crime intelligence from various sources, supporting police functions and informing strategic decision-making.
  • Information Sharing and Collaboration: Foster effective relationships with regional and national intelligence agencies to collect, manage, and distribute relevant crime intelligence, enhancing officer safety and facilitating offender apprehension.
  • Report Generation and Dissemination: Produce high-quality, actionable reports for distribution to service members, ensuring that critical information is readily available to inform tactical operations.

 

As an Intelligence Investigator, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, analyzing complex data sets, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively are essential to success in this role.

 

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary range for this position is $ $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also included, reflecting the organization's commitment to supporting the well-being of its employees.
