Electrical Engineer - Natural Gas Compression and Measurement Facilities

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the development and execution of maintenance capital projects for Natural Gas Compression and/or Measurement facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, combined with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review compression and/or measurement facility systems and equipment drawings
  • Evaluate contractor design packages and interface with contracted Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)
  • Support material procurement and provide construction technical support
  • Create or review guidance documentation, standards, specifications, processes, procedures, or tools used for the execution of Engineering Work
  • Follow and ensure compliance with TC Energy's Practice of Engineering (POE) in all assigned work
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent degree with relevant experience
  • Knowledge of natural gas pipelines and compressor station design, codes, standards, and specifications (CSA Z662, ASME B31)
  • Ability to apply engineering principles, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng) license preferred but accepting experienced Engineers In Training (EIT)
