UPHOME is seeking a qualified Nanny to join our team. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to children in a home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, including maintaining a clean and organized space.
  • Plan and engage in activities with children, such as games, outings, and educational activities.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Care for pets and maintain a safe environment for them.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Screening questions:
    • Are you available for shift or on-call work?
    • Are you available for the advertised start date?
    • Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
    • Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?
    • Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
    • What is the highest level of study you have completed?
    Requirements:
    • 5 years or more of experience in childcare.
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
