Job Title: Woodworking Master Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Master Craftsman to join our team at Deconstructors Demolition Inc.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • They will measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • The ideal candidate will also fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
  • In addition, they will maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to plans.
  • Build and install various types of structures, including walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, and other fixtures.
  • Maintain and repair existing structures.
  • Safety protocols must always be followed to prevent injuries and damage to equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
