The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and be able to work efficiently with MRI equipment to capture clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Explaining the MRI process to patients and ensuring their compliance with all safety standards.
  • Positioning and sedating patients as needed to capture clear images of the correct area of the body.
  • Removing and replacing IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
  • Operating MRI equipment and positioning it to capture the required images.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient data and monitoring equipment functions.

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:

  • A degree in Medical Imaging or Radiology Technology, or be currently enrolled in such a program.
  • Experience working with MRI equipment and providing patient care would be advantageous.
  • Licensure and certification to work as a Medical Imaging Specialist by 2025.
  • Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and technical ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation based on experience.
