Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at AAHAR FOODS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, setting up chemical experiments, and compiling records for analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses to ensure the quality of products.
  • Compile records for analytical studies and ensure that data is accurate and reliable.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in safety audits and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and that the work environment is safe and healthy.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in quality assurance and control.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Organized and proactive with good judgement.
