Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to join our team. As a First Officer, you will be responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, including adhering to all safety regulations and other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform the duties and responsibilities of the First Officer position.
- Adhere to all safety regulations as per company requirements, Transport Canada, CARs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot and/or Deputy Chief Pilot.
- Valid Commercial Pilot License and Airline Transport Pilot License or IATRA exams written.
- Hold a PPC (Pilot Proficiency Check) and maintain currency for an airplane in the responsible aircraft grouping.
- 1,000 hours Total Time.
- 100 hours PIC.
- 500 hours Multi-engine.
- Preference will be given to candidates with time on type.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Good decision making and problem solving abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest's Safety Management System manual.
