Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at Student Transportation of Canada. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Safe Transportation: Safely transport students to and from school, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
  • Logbook Maintenance: Maintain accurate logbooks and reports of daily activities.
  • Emergency Procedures: Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures and report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and a strong desire to work with children.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, good judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, requiring 15 to 25 hours of work per week. The language of work is English or French.
