About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's systems and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as emptying trash cans, making adjustments to heating and cooling systems, and performing minor repairs to appliances and electrical systems.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Work with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with tradespersons to address major repairs and maintenance issues.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience an asset in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Dependability and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical capabilities to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
