Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. As a Database Developer, you will design and create database structures to store and retrieve data efficiently. You will work with a broader team to develop fast and performant database queries, perform database maintenance tasks, and ensure an even load distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create database structures to store and retrieve data efficiently
  • Develop fast and performant database queries using SQL Server
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including backups and log shipping
  • Ensure an even load distribution and troubleshoot database issues
  • Stay up-to-date with database security procedures and comply with data protection legislation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software development, computer science, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in SQL programming
  • Advanced knowledge of database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts
  • Strong working knowledge of MSSQL,.Net, and Java
  • Ability to create fast and efficient database queries
  • Knowledge of XML and experience in transaction processing in the hedge fund and mutual fund industry
