Job Title: Freelance Teacher of English

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Teacher of English to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. As a Freelance Teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language lessons to students of various ages and levels.

Job Summary:

We are a global leader in English teaching, and we are looking for a Freelance Teacher of English to work with our academic and teaching teams in the delivery of lessons and services in Budapest Teaching Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching English and a desire to work with a global leader in English teaching.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English language lessons to students of various ages and levels.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students' performance throughout the course.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials, and related services.
  • Complete teaching-related administrative tasks to specified standards.
  • Ensure safeguarding and guidelines are applied and upheld in line with standards and policy for child protection and adult safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion, safety, and security.
Requirements:
  • First Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (Core) or PGCE.
  • High proficiency in English (CEFR level of C2/ IELTS Band 8+ in each of 4 sections of the academic module).
  • 2 years' post-certificate experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
  • Experience in teaching at least two of the relevant age groups: Primary Young Learners (6-11 years old), Secondary Learners (12-17 years old), and Adults General English.
Desirable:
  • Proficient in online delivery using Zoom or similar platforms.
  • Experience in teaching Exam Preparation courses (Cambridge and/or IELTS) to both adults and young learners.
