About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, including the creation of detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and supervise the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to our engineering team, including the interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately accounted for.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation packages and drawing sets, including technical reports and specifications.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring that all technical information is clearly understood.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
