Pizza Cook Job Description

Giro Restaurant inc. is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Work Environment:

The Pizza Cook will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding role. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, and have a client-focused approach.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • or equivalent experience
Language:

The working language is English.

Work Setting:

The Pizza Cook will work in a restaurant in an urban area.

Transportation:

Public transportation is available.
