Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Bluewater Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering patient trays, maintaining a clean and safe food service environment, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver patient trays according to established procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to infection control and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Grade 12 graduate or equivalent required
• Basic Food Safety certification required
• Minimum one year recent experience in food service in a hospital, long term care facility, or institution preferred
• Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job required
