As a key member of Maple Leaf Foods' London Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processing equipment and building infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and Health & Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement progressive, proactive maintenance routines, leveraging predictive approaches to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and execution of corrective maintenance requirements, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Perform assigned work orders, accurately documenting and accounting for inventory and labor on our computerized maintenance management system (SAP).
- Interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and schematics to inform maintenance decisions.
- Machine and fabricate components as needed for equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Perform welding and part repair tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
- Ensure all job-related operations align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright Certification, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of executing planned and scheduled daily tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of the Maintenance Reliability process and predictive technologies, including precision tools and testing equipment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety, food safety, and environmental regulations, with a commitment to safety and compliance.
